International Accounting Day – 2020
The Department of Accounting hosted the International Accounting Day – 2020 on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. This event commenced with tree planting at 9.30 am. A webinar on managing accountancy challenges in 2020: academic and practical perspective was conducted via “Zoom App” from 10.00 am to 11.00 am. Professor. T. Velnampy and Mr. K. Elangko as panelist, shared their insights on managing accountancy challenges in 2020 while Professor. B. Nimalathasan introduced the panelist and moderated the session. The event was wound up with vote of thanks.
