International Accounting Day - 2020 The Department of Accounting hosted the International Accounting Day – 2020 on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. This event commenced with tree planting at 9.30 am. A webinar on managing accountancy challenges in 2020: academic and practical perspective was conducted via “Zoom App” from 10.00 am to 11.00 am. A Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Accounting and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka The Department of Accounting (DOA) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), at the University of Jaffna Sri Lanka  which aims to develop and strengthen the accounting education and the profession across Sri Lanka.
