A Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Accounting and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri LankaThe Department of Accounting (DOA) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), at the University of Jaffna Sri Lanka which aims to develop and strengthen the accounting education and the profession across Sri Lanka. Prof. V Arasaratnam, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jaffna Sri Lanka and President of CA Sri Lanka, Mr. Sujeewa Rajapakse, signed the MOU in the presence of Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce Prof.T.Velnampy, Head of the Department of Accounting Prof.B.Nimalathasan along with academic members.
A Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Accounting and Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri LankaThe Department of Accounting (DOA) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA), at the University of Jaffna Sri Lanka which aims to support the students of University of Jaffna Sri Lanka to obtain a recognised professional accounting qualification while studying for the degree. The MOU was signed by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jaffna Sri Lanka, Prof. V Arasaratnam and the President of CMA Professor Lakshman R. Watawala in presence of Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce Prof.T.Velnampy, Head of the Department of Accounting Prof.B.Nimalathasan along with academic members.
