The Department of Accounting, in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK organised a Quiz Competition for University students on Tuesday, November 07, 2023, as a part of celebrating International Accounting Day 2023, at the Faculty Auditorium, with the aim of enriching the understanding of accounting principles among university students. Eighteen teams from the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce actively participated in the competition, involving a total of 72 students. The competition comprised six rounds, covering various aspects of accounting, including basic accounting principles, conceptual framework and accounting standards, management accounting, contemporary issues in accounting, general knowledge, and a rapid-fire round.
